The best way to watch two different shows at the same time is by using a split screen. Unfortunately, none of the Hisense TV models have a built-in split-screen feature. However, you can still watch multiple shows at once by using the Multiviewer tool or screen mirroring.
Explore this article to learn how to set up a split screen on your Hisense Smart TV.
Steps to Use Split Screen on Hisense TV Via Multiviewer
A Multiviewer is a device that lets you connect multiple HDMI devices to one channel, allowing you to stream their output simultaneously on any screen. You can buy a Multiviewer from online stores. Here’s how to set it up with your Hisense TV:
1. Remove the Multiviewer from its packaging.
2. Insert the HDMI cable from your streaming device into the Multiviewer.
3. Now, purchase an additional HDMI cable, and connect one end of the HDMI cable to your Hisense TV and the other end to the Multiviewer.
4. Plug in the optical cable and Insert the Multiviewer adapter into a power socket in your home.
5. Power on both your Hisense TV and the Multiviewer.
6. Switch the input on your Hisense TV to the Multiviewer.
7. The home screen of your streaming device should now appear on your TV.
8. Use the Multiviewer remote or the physical button on the device to split your TV screen into four sections and enjoy streaming your favorite content on your Hisense TV.
Steps To Use Split Screen on Hisense TV Via PC
If you prefer not to buy a Multiviewer, you can use the screen mirroring feature on your Hisense TV instead.
1. Ensure your Hisense TV and your PC/Mac are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
2. Set Up Screen Mirroring:
For Windows
- Press Windows + K and Select your Hisense Smart TV from the list. Click “Done“.
For Mac
- Open the Menu Bar and Click on the Control Center icon. Select “Screen Mirroring” and Choose your Hisense Smart TV from the options. Now, Click “Done”.
3. Once screen mirroring is active, open four apps or split your browser into four tabs on your computer.
4. Now, Play content on each screen or tab and enjoy watching the content simultaneously on your Hisense TV through screen mirroring.
Until Hisense TV officially supports split screen, you can use these methods to stream content in split screen. If you don’t want to invest in a Multiviewer tool, you can use screen mirroring to watch two different shows at the same time.
